HK Wok, a Chinese restaurant just located at London Road. A nice restaurant where for international student that is Chinese can still enjoy hometown food.

HK Wok provides variety of food for international student and local citizens as well such as Roasted chicken and duck, Fish, ‘Tofu’ dishes ,vegetables, variety of fried rice and others. The portion of food is HK Wok is large and it is enough for 2 people if you order a plate of main course.

HK Wok has made a name for itself within a short time: a check on TripAdvisor.com ranked it 63 out of 651 restaurants in Sheffield city for 2013.

The owner of the restaurant, Qi Tao, from China said that purpose of operate Chinese restaurant in Sheffield is because for living purpose. He explained that a lot of Chinese students are living in Sheffield and they can come here to enjoy Chinese food even they had leave their hometown.

He added that the must order dishes in HK Wok is ‘Roasties’ which include Roast Duck, Crisply pork, Honey Roast Pork and others.

Malaysian student Jacob Tie Tong Seng, 22, said: “HK work is a nice place. In the western country, it is less opportunity to have Chinese foods. I am so happy still can eat the Chinese food in the western country. The food that I most like to eat is their roster duck. The prices for those foods are slightly expensive but still affordable and the portion is big. It is good to share the food with your friends too. ”

“The service of the waiter and waitress also very nice and they are very willing to help and serve the best to the customer. And most importantly, the student still can get 10% of discount,” he added.

HK Wok provides delivery service after 5p.m as well. The maximum distance for delivery service is 7 mile and delivery charge is 1 pound within 3 miles and another 1 pound a mile after. And, HK Wok provides free dessert for customer when they’re finish their meal.
