Healthy Fruits and Vegetables – Get a difference experience in the summer at Dronfield Woodhouse
Experience a different summer with ‘Pick your own fruit’ in Sheffield. A farm which located at Dronfield Woodhouse in Sheffield, A Pearson and Sons is about 7 mile away from Sheffield Interchange. If you were to take bus, it’ll only take around 50 minutes with 80 pence by taking bus 43 or 43A and you can get off from the bus at Dronfield Woodhouse
A Pearson and Sons provide a ready harvested and also offers visitors a chance to experience picking their own fruit and vegetable, it is straight from the nursery where the product is grown. At there, you can pick your own strawberries, gooseberries, tomatoes, carrots, and others fruit and vegetable in different session.
According to the farm owner Howard said that has more than 10 different types of fruits and vegetable in the farm allow visitor to pick their own, but it also need to depend on the weather.
“It is not one can grow their fruits and vegetable without chemical. But if you wish to test fresh produce, it is best to come visit us in the nurseries. For the price is depending on the type and amount of the visitors have picked, but all the fruit and vegetable is the first hand and it only sold at here, hence the price is cheaper than the market.” he said.
One of the visitor Josh said that he know this farm is from his mother and he feel this farm really nice and great because people can come here to picking their own fruit in Pearson and Sons. Another visitor Donald Milner, who was with his wife said that they came here, is want to have some fresh fruit for making jam.
